About this forum

The Energy Market Regulation Forum (EMRF) looks to coordinate the interests of different upstream member businesses in gas market regulation. This includes the costs, tariffs, terms and conditions for access to the UK gas transition network, including governance of gas quality, and functioning of the gas wholesale market.

All relevant OEUK Operator and Contractor member companies.

Forum objectives

  1. Coordinate responses to potential changes to the UNC code including tariff methodologies
  2. Participate in Gas Quality discussions including IGEM gas quality workgroup
  3. Promote effective wholesale market functioning and respond to initiatives relating to e.g. gas security of supply, gas storage or the EU internal market
  4. Monitor changes in regulations related to energy trading
