The purpose of the Government Relations Forum is the to help facilitate a coordinated industry approach to government and stakeholder relations through sharing political intelligence and stakeholder engagement strategies. Each member may nominate one primary and one alternate representative to the work group who works within a government relations, public affairs, communications or regulatory affairs role – responsible for their organisation’s engagement with government, politicians and other relevant stakeholders.
Available to: External Affairs representatives from operator and contractor member companies.
• Provide insight to help members manage the impact of the UK leaving the European Union
• Support coordination of industry‐wide approach to influence development and delivery of UK Government’s Industrial Strategy
• Give political insight and guidance to help manage emerging policy and political issues including elections, at local, Scottish, UK and EU level
