Championing the sector

For over fifty years, Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) has been the leading authority on the UK’s offshore energy sector.
We have consistently championed an industry that plays a vital role in the UK’s economy and energy security.
Through robust evidence, clear communication, and active stakeholder engagement, we help shape informed understanding of the sector’s contribution in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
From this trusted and authoritative position, we contribute to the development of policies that support both the industry and the UK’s energy transition goals.

- Campaigning for Change
OEUK provides the secretariat function to the APPG for the British Offshore Energy Industry. The APPG provides a valuable forum for MPs and Peers to work together on a cross-party basis to champion hydrogen, carbon capture, offshore wind, and oil and gas. It supports the UK’s green energy leadership and net-zero goals while advocating for a just transition that protects the skilled workers and meets energy needs through collaboration with governments, regulators, and communities.
