3t Energy Group (3t) is paying a seven-digit sum for Utility & Construction Training (UCT), the UK’s leading construction and utility infrastructure training provider.
In a November 4 statement, it said the deal “reinforces 3t’s growth plans both in the UK and globally.” Its businesses include Drilling Systems, AIS Survivex, 3t Transform and 3t EnerMech.
3t Energy Group CEO Kevin Franklin said the deal would give UCT’s client base access to market-leading safety, skills, and technical training. Demand for that is stronger than ever, he said.
The combined expertise of UCT and 3t will accelerate the group’s offering in the wider energy market. It also supports its 3t’s UK and global client-base in the move to net-zero carbon activities and its decarbonisation roadmap to up-skill and re-skill workforces.
