EXPRO celebrates women in STEM

20 November 2018

There are more women working in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) roles than ever before, however, still far fewer than their male counterparts. In celebration of STEM day on November 8 2018, EXPRO released short films to highlight the importance of encouraging women into these roles and benefits of pursuing such a career.

EXPRO’s Global Head of Innovation, Dr Alexandra Rogacheva, talks to us about the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) roles in today’s modern world. She gives us insight into her career journey and how she is still inspired daily by her peers in STEM roles. Watch her video here:

Expro’s Marta Marjan also wants to encourage young people into STEM roles. She explains her role as a Project Manager in an easy to understand way, to inspire the next generation of creative talent into STEM careers. Marta wants us to share our creative ideas and not be disheartened when people don’t like them. Her advice is beneficial to young people, teens and even us adults! Watch Marta’s video below:
