Powering Our Energy Future: Secure, Sustainable, Skilled.
Offshore Energies UK is delighted to announce the OEUK Conference 2024, taking place on Tuesday 17 September at P&J Live, Aberdeen.
Join us as industry gathers post-election as we look to the future and continue our journey towards a net zero UK, at the OEUK Conference 2024 – Powering Our Energy Future: Secure, Sustainable, Skilled.
As bp celebrates 60 years in the North Sea, the company will be principal sponsor of the event that will bring world-class firms and experts together to collaborate and discuss the UK’s energy future.
The UK’s oil and gas industry has powered the economy for over 60 years and the opportunity exists for the expanding offshore energy industry to continue for decades to come, supporting UK skills and delivering secure supplies of energy. This year’s conference has a special focus on these areas, all of which are key components of OEUK’s industry manifesto. In this general election year, OEUK is asking policymakers across all parties and regions of the UK to choose a homegrown energy transition to make the most of our domestic industry and skilled people as we journey to net zero.
The conference, taking place in the first 100 days of a new UK government, is set to welcome over 350 delegates from across oil and gas, wind, carbon capture and hydrogen. Attendees will share knowledge and map out the next steps for the UK’s offshore energy firms and their supply chains.
Hear from an exciting line up of inspirational speakers covering the topics of UK energy security, a sustainable approach to energy and the skills required to deliver the energy landscape now and in the future. These themes lie at the heart of our journey to net zero, while delivering energy security, and delegates can expect expert insight across the day from speakers representing regulators, operators, the supply chain and more.
There will be plenty to discuss, make sure you are part of the conversation.
The full conference agenda will be released in the coming months, it promises to include:
- A series of expert presentations and discussions
