Aberdeen-based digital solutions provider Fennex and US rig operator Noble Corporation have won the Best Digital Transformation accolade at the Gulf Energy Excellence Awards in Houston.
It celebrates their ground-breaking collaboration on the Extreme Weather Monitoring and Simulation Platform, Fennex said October 14. It significantly improves safety and operational efficiency in high-risk offshore environments.
Fennex MD Adrian Brown said: “Together, we’ve pushed the boundaries of digital transformation to protect offshore workers and improve operational resilience in some of the most challenging environments.”
Fennex added that Aberdeen’s Opportunity North East had been instrumental in fostering innovation such as its platform.
