The objective of the forum is to provide a formal body through which members’ representatives can share best practices, review well life cycle cross-industry issues, create and resource task finish groups (“TFGs”) for any specific tasks, interact with other industry stakeholders, OEUK Forums and regulators, and to prepare recommendations/guidelines for consideration of the OEUK Board and members.

Available to: All OEUK Operator and Contractor member companies including wells managers and wells services contractors.

Objectives

Activities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Identifying industry best practices, guidelines and standards applicable to UKCS well design, construction and management and intervention operations which can be implemented and maintained throughout the industry.
  2. Advancing the competitive well delivery initiative
  3. Identifying opportunities to unlock potential production improvement (and ultimate recovery) through increased well interventions
  4. Providing regulators and stakeholders with a way to discuss cross-industry issues relevant to improving health, safety and environmental excellence.
