Kishorn Port bid farewell to the Voyageur Spirit floating production, storage and offtake (FPSO) vessel after a three-year stay 9 April. Built in 2008, the cylindrical FPSO is 70 m long, 65 m wide and weighs 45,145 tonnes.
Port director Alasdair Ferguson said the team “once again” demonstrated the port’s outstanding capabilities and the sail-off was “a great testament to our ability to look after all the needs of a warm stacked vessel, such as the Voyageur Spirit and providing all the services required.”
The Voyageur Spirit was floated on to the heavy load carrier vessel, Xin Yao Hua, the largest vessel believed to visit the port. The vessel is now onward bound to Dubai.
KPL and its 50-50 partners at Leith Scotland and Ferguson Transport & Shipping extend their best wishes and a safe onward journey for the asset and crew.
