About this group

The Chemicals Technical Group allows specialists from member companies to exchange expertise, share experiences, discuss environmental considerations, and provide feedback on operational chemical guidance relevant to the offshore energy industry.

The membership is open to all OEUK members who have the relevant expertise and technical knowledge of offshore chemicals management within their organisation.

Objectives

  • Provide regular opportunity for engagement between industry & key regulators.
  • Facilitation of regulatory compliance.
  • Identify, understand and where necessary, propose actions to resolve current and emerging chemical issues including e.g. policy consultations and sharing good practice.
  • Create and resource task finish groups when required.
