Industrial lifting firm Brimmond is recruiting for six new roles to meet the surging demand from its clients. The roles are in hydraulics, welding, crane operations and other related sectors, it said late November.
The prospects for long-term employment with Brimmond are good: its longest-serving member of staff Steven Sharp recently celebrated 15 years with the firm (below left, with Glenn Morrison, who joined as an apprentice engineer nine years ago).
Reflecting on what has kept him with the company for so long, Mr Sharp said: “At Brimmond everyone has their own specialism, but everyone – and everything – comes together. We’re greater than the sum of our parts!… We maintain the highest standards.
