Welcome to OEUK’s 2023 Health, Safety & Environment Report, which provides an overview of the offshore energy industry’s health, safety and environment performance in 2022. Delivering safe and environmentally sound operations is the goal of all our member organisations. It drives the work our members put into OEUK groups and initiatives.
This can help us anticipate problems better and minimise them. By looking out for weak signals, we can prevent underlying causes from deteriorating further and reduce incidents, whether hydrocarbon releases, serious injuries or environmental impacts. Constant vigilance about anything threatening safe and sustainable operations is key.
