Vysus Group subsidiary ModuSpec has extended a multi-million-dollar global frame agreement for blow-out prevention (BOP) inspection services with operator BP, it said September 14.
It has been delivering such support to the UK major for more than eight years. This extension, possibly worth $10mn/yr, means that ModuSpec could be called upon to provide support across BP’s global operations, it said.
ModuSpec said that the extension testified to the value that BP placed in its ability to support its operations. “It’s as important as ever to our clients that we are there to support with our technical expertise, backed up by the knowledge and experience a long-term relationship brings to the table,” it said.
