Dutch offshore access provider Ampelmann is developing a new full motion compensation system, with the ability to transfer personnel as well as cargo up to 5,000kg in rough waters offshore.
The E5000 is the latest development by the company and builds on the proven technology of the E1000, released in 2016. The new system will be able to operate in high sea states, enabling safe offshore access across a broader range of work scopes and extending the weather window of operations.
