OEUK member Blend, the multi-award-winning Data and AI consultancy, has appointed Shraddha Shekar-Smith as Vice President of Client Success for its EMEA Energy practice.
Shraddha’s appointment marks a key milestone in Blend’s mission to drive AI-led transformation across the energy sector and meet the growing demand for innovative data solutions.
Previously, Shraddha led McKinsey’s Upstream Energy service line, delivering strategic transformations and large-scale digital programmes for major operators across the UK, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. She also held a central technology role at BP, where she was responsible for building and deploying cutting-edge technologies – providing her with deep insight into the digital transformation challenges and opportunities facing the energy industry.

Joining at a time of rapid growth in AI adoption, Shraddha brings a rare combination of academic and industry expertise. With a PhD in computational modelling of quantum mechanical equations from Cambridge University, she is well placed to help shape data-driven innovation across the energy landscape.
