Drilling contractors Ensco and Rowan have confirmed the completion of their previously announced merger. The newly formed EnscoRowan will maintain its headquarters in London, UK, and a significant presence in Houston, Texas.
The company says it now operates the world’s largest offshore drilling fleet, with executives stating that the merger offers increased scale, diversification and financial strength in drilling across all water depths. Read more…
