Fennex launches AI safety tool

24 February 2025

Artificial intelligence specialist Fennex has introduced Predictive Safety, following a successful initial pilot deployment offshore with Noble Corporation.

Developed in collaboration with data scientists from University College London and Robert Gordon University, Predictive Safety uses algorithms to analyse observations and reports. Deployed across Noble’s fleet, the technology has proved its worth, translating operational data into actionable intelligence and enhancing decision-making. A stronger safety culture and better efficiency have resulted.

Fennex unveiled the package at the International Association of Drilling Contractors’ (IADC) health, safety and environment conference February 20. “By analysing millions of real-world safety observations, we have clearly demonstrated that Predictive Safety is an essential, transformational operational tool,” it said. Noble called it a “game-changer” for operational safety, enabling it to eliminate potentially deadly risks.

Fennex’s products may be seamlessly integrated into existing safety management systems.
