Kent on track to beat 2022 with strong start to year

Integrated energy services contractor Kent has earned over $900mn in awards in the first half of the year, it said September 5. This puts it on track to surpass last year’s record.

Highlights include expansion into Brunei in a newly established joint venture; a five-year engineering and procurement services agreement in Canada; a front-end engineering and design (Feed) work for ExxonMobil’s large-scale plastic waste advanced recycling programme; and a Feed contract for Grenian Hydrogen’s six green hydrogen production sites.

Kent said its pipeline forecast would allow it to exceed its entire yearly business development target during the third quarter. “The numbers prove that we are strengthening our reputation for project solutions and innovation with our clients from engineering through to project completion,” it said.
