Denmark’s Maersk Training has secured a long-term global partnership with Asia-focused Sapura Drilling, it said July 5. Maersk’s training management services team will provide competence and compliance training through a range of methods. The contract formalises several years of collaboration.
Sapura Drilling said: “Training and development is an important aspect of our operations to create and maintain a high-performing workforce. It is critical to ensure our team can continue to deliver on our promises to clients and live up to our core values. I believe our partnership with Maersk Training will help us to achieve these objectives.”
Maersk Training said it was “delighted” to have secured the contract. It promised to deliver a high level of service while reducing Sapura’s total cost of training.
