Port of Aberdeen has appointed Sarah Downs as a Non-Executive Member, effective 1 January 2026, supporting the port’s focus on consolidating core activity and accelerating diversification. Sarah brings 12 years of advisory and non-executive experience across the private and third sectors. She also serves as Chair of the Institute of Directors’ Aberdeen Branch and Regional Chair for PXN Venture Scotland.
Her appointment comes as the port increases efforts to grow activity across energy, cargo, cruise, and ferry markets, while maintaining safe, high-quality services and infrastructure for customers. Eleanor Craig, a Board member since 2019, has also been appointed Vice-Chair.
