THREE60 Energy has signed a multi-million pound contract to design and deliver cable storage carousels for the Sumitomo Electric Industries power cable factory in Nigg, Scotland.
The equipment will be designed and built at THREE60’s manufacturing facilities in Glasgow, the first components planned for delivery in mid-2025. It will allow Scottish wind farm developers to reduce their carbon footprint with better availability of core materials in Scotland, THREE60 said February 28.
Scottish Enterprise, as part of its responsibility for delivering on Scottish government strategies for international trade and inward investment, supported THREE60’S bid.
