Danish Semco Maritime and Navantia Seanergies have agreed to combine their experience and capabilities in offshore substations and offering life cycle support to offshore windfarms, they said April 9. The partnership unites Europe’s largest industrial-scale manufacturer in offshore wind and the supplier of high-voltage alternating current offshore substations, they said.
The companies will deliver engineering, procurement and construction solutions integrating their wealth of knowledge to create proven configurations, using standardised building blocks, ensuring that their solutions are lean, and construction friendly. The partnership will also offer an unparalleled lifecycle approach, taking advantage of the large experience in maintaining over 40 offshore substations across Europe.
