Artificial Intelligence technology company Fennex has won a multi-year contract with offshore oil and gas producer EnQuest for its BBSSTM (behaviour-based safety software), it said June 3. The cloud-based system will be used on all EnQuest’s operated assets in the UK including the Sullom Voe oil terminal – one of Europe’s largest.
Enquest was very keen to have the software operational as soon as possible and so make a step change in operational safety. It took Fennex just eight weeks to install BBSS so that it was operational.
BBSS provides full visibility of engagement in safety reporting and real-time data. EnQuest said this gave it “immediate insight into reported issues and the ability to act swiftly for the best outcomes in our operations.”
