Event Overview
We’re pleased to announce our next date for the OEUK Medical Examiner Quality Seminar, taking place on Wednesday 23 September 2026.
The online seminar is open to all OEUK medical examiners, who are expected to attend at least one Medical Examiner Quality Seminar every two years.
The seminar will include a series of expert presentations, along with a live panel Q&A session.
The seminar will cover (agenda subject to final confirmation):
- Introduction and opening remarks
- Recent history of OEUK guidelines development and future plans
- International and wider use of the OEUK guidelines
- A look inside the OEUK medical examiners inbox – common queries and topics
- SAR medevacs and mortality offshore (UK experience) – patterns, causes and challenges
- Perspectives on mental health and fitness for offshore work
- Further reflections on the OEUK medical guidelines
- Covering international use and use in other settings, delegated medicals, rope access workers, NUIs
- Q&As throughout the seminar
Attendance requirement
As per the Code of Conduct all Medical Examiners are required to participate in at least one Medical Examiner Quality Seminar in any 2-year period.
CPD
The seminars will be CPD approved. Further details will be shared following the online event.

Please be advised that OEUK Medical Examiners Quality Seminars are subject to VAT. OEUK is a UK established organisation therefore the seminars are subject to VAT as the place of supply of services is hosted within the UK.
