Business leaders from the UK oil and gas sector shared industry insights this week with Chief Economist Andy Haldane from the Bank of England.
Oil & Gas UK Chief Executive Deirdre Michie hosted the roundtable which took place in Aberdeen.
She said: “We had a really good meeting with the Chief Economist who was interested in hearing about our recent experiences and business conditions. We also shared our views on the outlook for our sector which contributes £17 billion to the UK’s balance of trade and still supports 300,000 jobs.”
