Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) has extended the deadline for submissions to its 2024 awards which celebrate outstanding companies and inspirational people working in the sector.
Potential entrants for the OEUK awards sponsored by Shell U.K. Limited now have until Monday August 12 to nominate the industry’s brightest stars. Winners will be announced at the 2024 annual ceremony at P&J Live in Aberdeen on Thursday November 28.
Submissions are sought for the following categories:
- Apprentice of the Year, sponsored by OPITO
- Early Career Professional of the Year
- People & Culture: A new award for 2024, which recognises the organisations that nurture their workforce and take proactive steps to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.
- Outstanding Contribution to Energy Decarbonisation, sponsored by North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA)
- Outstanding Contribution to Energy Security
- Innovative Supply Chain Company of the Year – SME & Large Enterprise, sponsored by Harbour Energy
- Neighbour of the Year category: celebrates companies that exemplify exceptional corporate social responsibility and community engagement.

OEUK is also calling for nominations for the OEUK Awards for Excellence in Decommissioning.
The categories are:
- Operator- sponsored by PDi
- Supply Chain – sponsored by NSTA
The deadline for Decommissioning Awards has also been extended to Monday August 12. These two awards will be presented at a gala dinner during OEUK’s Offshore Decommissioning conference at the Fairmont Hotel in St Andrews on November 19.
