Offshore access specialist Ampelmann has secured a new decommissioning contract for the Audrey platform in the southern North Sea.
An E-type gangway system has been installed on the Olympic Orion vessel to carry out a two-month campaign for Spirit Energy to prepare the platform for decommissioning.
The award follows Ampelmann’s use of an A-type gangway system on another project in 2017, when it was deployed in partnership with Boskalis during the decommissioning of the Leman platform. Read more…
