Cognite has announced that Paul Grenet will join the company as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). It said he brings “extensive experience in driving sales organisations and go-to-market strategies for global technology companies and is poised to lead Cognite towards ambitious revenue goals as the company continues to define the Industrial DataOps sector.”
Grenet, formerly global head of sales at PTC, will be responsible for all aspects of Cognite’s revenue performance, including managing its global sales and customer success organisations and executing its go-to-market strategy.
“I am thrilled to welcome Paul Grenet to Cognite’s leadership team as we globally scale our customer and partner engagement framework,” said Girish Rishi, Cognite CEO. “Paul brings deep domain expertise in energy and industrial markets and has lived and worked on both sides of the Atlantic, installing scalable systems in data management, applications, and in the internet of things.”
“Cognite’s data contextualization platform is fast becoming the bedrock for leading customers in energy and industrial sectors to deliver on sustainability goals and leverage operational efficiencies,’’ said Grenet.
“I look forward to building upon the current team, attracting new talent, and helping Cognite effectively serve its growing roster of global clients and partners,’’ he said.
Cognite recently announced its expansion into Latin America and the formation of CNTXT, a joint venture between Cognite and Aramco to help digitalise the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s national oil company.
