It will provide an opportunity for Council members to discuss expectations for the Budget and the key recommendations set out in OEUK’s Budget representation, with a focus on the fiscal measures needed to restore investor confidence and unlock investment.

Beyond Jackdaw & Rosebank: The Regulatory Reset We Need: A change in government offers the opportunity to reshape the narrative & future regulatory framework for the UK offshore energy sector. This session will consider the changes needed beyond the immediate decisions on Jackdaw and Rosebank, with a focus on creating a more predictable, efficient and investment-focused regulatory environment that supports domestic energy production and long-term project development.

Employment Rights Act: Change is Coming: The Employment Rights Act represents the most significant change to UK employment legislation in a generation. Key changes will come into effect on November 1st. This session will provide an update on the key reforms, implementation timelines and the implications for employers across the offshore energy sector.

2027 Priorities for the Sector. This session will explore the sector’s key priorities for the year ahead for the offshore energy sector. Attention can increasingly turn to delivering a genuine all-energy narrative, removing barriers to offshore wind investment, unlocking the decommissioning derogation process and securing a more supportive regulatory environment overall. It will cover OEUKs policy and market priorities for offshore wind and CCS, and will also include feedback from the September Joint Advisory Council.

OEUK Budget and Funding This session will provide an overview of OEUK’s budget and business plan for 2027 and beyond. It will outline the changes arising from the 2026 strategic review and consider proposed changes to the Production Operator funding arrangements ahead of the December AGM.
