Drilling Systems’ Clive Battisby has been announced as the new UK Branch Chair of the International Well Control Forum (IWCF). Clive previously held the position of Vice Chair from 2017 and has worked to serve the interests of the global oilfield community. After an election process amongst the UK Branch members, he was elected to serve as Chair for the next three years.
Clive Battisby, who is chief operating officer at Drilling Systems, said: “I am honoured to have been elected as the new UK Chair of the International Well Control Forum. The Forum is instrumental in setting and controlling the oil and gas industry’s high safety standards for well control and I am looking forward to playing a part in helping to guide and shape a safer workforce for the future.” Read more…
