Interventek success prompts new staff and facilities

Subsea oil and gas engineering firm Interventek has invested in the region of £750,000 to support business growth in 2019 and beyond, via a workshop expansion and the appointment of new staff.

The company’s workshop has been expanded to create a 5,000 square foot technology development and test centre. Among other facilities, the new space includes an overhead crane, two pressure test bays, high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) test pumps, a hyperbaric test cell, an advanced data acquisition system and metrological instruments for development diagnostics.

The investment follows recent contract wins for the supply of Interventek’s Revolution shear and seal safety valve to support well intervention projects in the US and Caspian for a range of customers, including an international oil operator. Read more…
