Maersk Training has successfully completed the pilot for the first ever virtual well control certification, the IADC WellSharp® Live. For the first time, all professionals attending the course were at home, in accordance with shelter-in-place regulations.
Maersk Training is the first training provider to be audited and to pass for the virtual training courses it now offers, which are accredited by OPITO, IADC and IWCF. The company says that the achievement marks a step-change in the remote learning tools that will be necessary to sustain the industry in trying times.
Maersk Training continues to find ways to provide training services whilst adhering to government guidelines, including multiple new workshops which can be delivered virtually to teams in the comfort of their homes. Read more…
