Supply chain companies keen to source in-advance market intelligence about the pipeline of exciting energy projects and secure meetings with key business contacts are snapping up places at OEUK’s Share Fair on March 20 at Aberdeen’s P&J Live.
With support from the North Sea Transition Authority, Share Fair focuses on delivering value to both buyers and suppliers by connecting companies across the energy industry’s supply chain. While Share Fair illuminates opportunities for suppliers, it enables contract and procurement teams to update their knowledge of the expertise, innovative technology and specialised services offered by the UK supply chain.
The growing list of leading operators and major contractors confirmed to present their forward plans encompasses those with interests across the energy sector ranging from oil and gas, offshore wind, hydrogen and geothermal to carbon capture and storage.
Companies signed up to present or offer the sought after one-to-one appointments include; bp, Ceraphi Geothermal Energy, CNOOC, CNR, Energy Pathways, Equinor, Inch Cape Offshore Limited, Ithaca Energy, NEO Energy, Orsted, Petrogas, Spirit Energy, Storegga, Subsea7, TechnipFMC, Well-Safe Solutions and Wood, with more expected to confirm in due course.
In late February, when OEUK opens booking for one-to-one appointments, suppliers will be able to secure business appointments with key decision-makers in client contract purchasing teams.
Katy Heidenreich, OEUK’s Supply Chain and People Director, said:
“We have a world-class energy supply chain, but it faces serious constraints including unsustainable margins with limited profitability. Share Fair addresses this challenge by providing suppliers with early sight of confirmed energy projects so they can secure investment, increase capacity, and recruit the skilled people they need to capitalise on the UK pipeline of work in oil and gas plus energy transition opportunities. “
Bill Cattanach, NSTA Head of Supply Chain, said:
“I am encouraged that Share Fair 2024 has already attracted a such an impressive line-up of operators and contractors. It speaks volumes for the importance of this event as a platform for promoting lucrative, near-term tendering opportunities for a range of projects which can aid energy security and accelerate the energy transition. The NSTA and OEUK will be working hard to secure even more big-name participants in the coming weeks.”
The Share Fair format comprises presentations from operators and major energy investors on future projects, one-to-one meetings with key decision makers procuring goods and services plus extensive opportunities for suppliers to network with industry peers and book exhibition space.
The event takes place in Aberdeen’s P&J Live on March 20 and more information about bookings is available on the website here
