Drillrig inspection specialist ModuSpec has added real-time monitoring to its portfolio, the Vysus Group subsidiary said August 24. ModuSpec Argus (image below courtesy Moduspec) continuously monitors signals and parameters so that its team can quickly detect abnormalities.
It also enables more efficient maintenance scheduling by using data trends to identify potential failures before they occur, leading to reduced costs and increased asset availability.
“Our key differentiator is the combination of our renowned compliance and verification expertise with the real-time monitoring system of ModuSpec Argus,” the company said in a statement. Its clients said a real-time monitoring tool would allow them to access the whole package along with the engineering expertise, from the same trusted supplier.
The same day, it announced its new address in Aberdeen: it is now in Westhill, on the first floor of Proserv House, Prospect Road.
