Nominations are opening this week for the OEUK Awards 2026, celebrating the people, companies and innovations driving the UK’s offshore energy industry at a critical moment for the nation’s energy future.
Hosted by Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) and sponsored by Adura, the awards come at a time when global instability and rising demand are putting energy security and resilience firmly in the spotlight.
The UK offshore energy sector contributes more than £36 billion to the economy each year and supports over 240,000 jobs nationwide, with skilled workers and businesses across the country continuing to deliver the energy that powers homes, industries and communities every day.
Against a period of significant change for the sector, the OEUK Awards will recognise the expertise, innovation and determination that is helping to shape the UK’s energy future – from new technologies to the people driving progress on the ground.
Winners will be announced at a gala awards ceremony on 19 November at P&J Live in Aberdeen, bringing together leaders, innovators and rising talent from across the industry.
Nominations are open from Wednesday June 17, with companies and individuals encouraged to submit entries showcasing excellence across the offshore energy sector.
Nominations for the Excellence in Decommissioning award are also open with a deadline of 27 July. These awards will be presented at the gala dinner during OEUK’s Offshore Decommissioning Conference on 24 November.
OEUK Chief Executive David Whitehouse said:
“Our 240,000-strong industry is more than just numbers on a page – it is made up of people across the UK working every day to deliver the energy our country relies on.
“At a time of rapid change and growing pressure on our energy system, the work happening across offshore energy has never been more important.
“These awards are an opportunity to recognise the skill, innovation and commitment that continues to underpin the UK’s energy mix and to celebrate those leading the way.”
