PD&MS has appointed George Akers as Group HSSEQ Director, reinforcing the company’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, security, environment and quality as the business continues to grow, expand internationally and broaden its capabilities. George brings decades of experience in senior HSSEQ leadership roles across the energy sector, most recently with Altrad Integrity Services. His experience spans operational safety, quality, assurance and the development of strong HSSEQ cultures within complex energy and industrial environments.
George will lead the development and delivery of the PD&MS Group HSSEQ strategy, with responsibility for driving continuous improvement across safety and quality performance, governance, operational assurance, environmental performance and risk management throughout the company’s UK and international operations. The appointment will ensure PD&MS’ HSSEQ framework continues to evolve in line with the company’s growth, expanding capabilities and increasing international footprint.
