This guidance document replaces the Supplementary Guidance on the RIDDOR Reporting of Hydrocarbon Releases issued in April 2014. The guidance sets out the means by which HCR may be assessed in terms of the requirement to report the release to the Offshore Safety Directive Regulator under RIDDOR and the EU Implementing Regulation.
