STC Insiso secures £2mn for growth

6 February 2023

Aberdeen-headquartered problem-solving company STC Insiso has secured £2mn from equity capital investor BGF to help it to roll out its Comet software platform faster, it said February 6.

Its business processes across culture, safety and performance are used widely in the oil and gas, construction, marine and utilities industries. Comet generates high quality input data to identify systemic risks.

BGF said the company has “an impressive software product portfolio which has proven invaluable to professionals in a wide range of industry sectors.”

STC Insiso’s revenue for 2022 was £4mn and that figure is predicted to grow significantly over the next two to four years. The investment has already resulted in the creation of three new product development positions, and further recruitment will continue this year, the company said in its statement.
