North Sea-focused development and production operator, Decipher Production, has announced the commencement of production from the Orlando Field.
Drilled and completed in June 2018, Orlando development well 3/3b-13Y showed good porosity and excellent oil saturation, and was able to deliver anticipated peak production rates of over 10,000 barrels of oil per day. The field has since been tied back to the Ninian Central Platform via an 11km pipeline, and will then be transported through the Ninian Pipeline System to the Sullom Voe Terminal for processing and offtake.
Decipher has said it is also maturing the potential high-value Senna and Mansell discoveries, and will progress towards an investment decision on these opportunities in 2019. Read more…
