OEUK member Briggs Environmental Services is marking 30 years of operations in Azerbaijan, where it provides specialist oil spill response and emergency preparedness services to the energy sector.
Since establishing its presence in the country in the mid-1990s, the company has supported major operators across offshore and onshore activities in the Caspian region, delivering services including oil spill response, contingency planning, training, emergency exercises and 24/7 response capability.
Over the past three decades, Briggs Environmental Services has helped strengthen environmental preparedness in Azerbaijan while supporting the protection of coastal, land and marine environments. The company has also provided wider emergency response expertise, including managing the fire and rescue team at the Sangachal Terminal.
The milestone also recognises the long-serving employees who have helped build and maintain the company’s operations in the region, as well as the strong partnerships developed with clients and local communities over the years.
