Verlume has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with German subsea battery producer SubCtech to collaborate on the development and delivery of integrated subsea power solutions. The agreement builds on an established working relationship between Verlume and SubCtech, with the two companies currently collaborating on an active project. It formalises a shared commitment to deepen the partnership and jointly pursue new commercial opportunities across the offshore energy and defence sectors.
The MoU also brings together two complementary areas of expertise: Verlume’s field-proven subsea power platform and intelligent systems integration capability, and SubCtech’s established expertise in the development and production of high-performance battery systems for demanding maritime and subsea environments.
