Leaders in the energy industry will come together to discuss the UK’s security of supply and the global response to providing responsible, clean and reliable sources of energy in light of the war in Ukraine at an event hosted by Offshore Energies UK in Aberdeen next week.
The breakfast event, ‘Energy Resilience: Plan for secure, UK supplies to power the transition’ will be held from 7am to 9.30am on Tuesday, May 17, at P&J Live and will bring together key operators, supply chain and data analysts.
Sponsored by Deloitte, keynote speakers and panellists include Katy Heidenreich (supply chain & operations director at Offshore Energies UK), Andrew Hockey (CEO of IOG), Findlay Anderson (vice president and general counsel – Oilfield Equipment at Baker Hughes) and Stuart White (operations director at Blaze Manufacturing).
The event, chaired by Natalie Coupar, communications director at Offshore Energies UK, will offer an overview of the impact on current and future activities from a UK, European and global perspective and analysis will include energy supply and demand, security and other resilience areas, such as the impact of sanctions and cyber-security concerns.
