26 July 2022

Water management and risk prevention specialists, OWM Group (OWM), has been awarded a two-year framework agreement to provide potable water management products and services to decommissioning specialists Well-Safe Solutions.

The agreement which kicked off in May of this year will cover all three of Well-Safe Solutions assets, the Well-Safe Guardian, Well-Safe Protector and the latest addition to its fleet the Well-Safe Defender and will deliver products and services for the provision of safe drinking water on the assets.

OWM which is in its 15th year of operation is committed to delivering industry-leading best practice, training and guidance to ensure water management compliance is adhered to both on and offshore. Last year OWM were appointed as the first Certified Service Partner covering the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) of established maritime water solution provider, Hatenboer-Water, which in turn inherits Hatenboer’s ‘Plastic Free @Sea’ initiative, helping towards creating a change in the industry and setting out cohesive ESG targets.

This latest framework will have OWM cover the full cycle of water management from initial on-board audit through to installation. The agreement also involves the OWM’s latest Technical Supply service of the business involving procure, installation and commission of spares.
