Altrad has secured a 4.5 year, multi-million pound contract with SABIC starting July 1. The contract has the option of four extensions, each of one year and relates to fabric maintenance at SABIC’S petrochemical complex in Teesside, northeast England, The engineering contractor said June 29.
Altrad said it looked forward to working collaboratively with SABIC. The contract builds on Altrad’s long-term relationship with SABIC, which spans several decades.
The award of these contracts will significantly increase the scale of Altrad’s teams working for SABIC, adding over 170 new people to create a team of over 200 on the site.
