Norwegian state-controlled producer Equinor has appointed Camilla Salthe as its senior vice president for the UK upstream business. She takes up the post September 1, when the incumbent, Arne Gurtner, moves back to Norway as SVP for Technology, Digital & Innovation.
Ms Salthe joined Equinor in 2003 and has held various leadership positions withim petroleum technology and business development. Most recently she has been SVP for field life extensions.
Mr Gurtner said it had been an absolute privilege to have had the opportunity to head up Equinor Exploration & Production International and to work with the exceptionally talented staff. He wished Ms Salthe the best for her new role.
