Flare Secures Major Multi-Year Apache North Sea Fire Safety Contract Through TEXO

20 August 2026

Flare has secured a major multi-year contract through TEXO to deliver inspection, service and maintenance of fixed and portable fire and emergency equipment across Apache’s North Sea operations.

The agreement demonstrates Flare’s ability to deliver integrated fire safety services across multiple offshore assets, supporting operators with consistent, compliant and responsive safety provision at scale.

The award reflects strong collaboration between TEXO, Apache and Flare, bringing together specialist expertise to support critical safety systems across mature North Sea assets where reliability, compliance and efficient mobilisation remain essential. Flare will support Forties Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta and Echo, alongside Beryl Alpha and Beryl Bravo. The programme covers a substantial offshore fire safety scope across multiple assets, with planned mobilisation, inspection and servicing activity representing one of the most significant offshore fire safety awards secured by Flare in recent years. For Flare, the contract marks a significant milestone and reflects the combined effort of operational, technical and support teams across the business.

“This contract gives Flare the opportunity to support Apache and TEXO across a substantial offshore fire safety programme, bringing practical, responsive and technically assured services to multiple North Sea

assets. Our teams are focused on reliable delivery, efficient mobilisation and maintaining the standards of safety and compliance that offshore operators depend on. It is a significant award for the business, but our priority is making sure we deliver consistently across the programme.” Dan McLean, Operations Director at Flare
