Developer and producer Independent Oil and Gas (IOG), has announced that the UK Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) has approved the company’s Core Project Phase 1 Field Development Plan (FDP).
In an accompanying operations update IOG noted that full contract awards are expected shortly for key Phase 1 workstreams, including platform fabrication, pipelay and subsea work, and well management. Project execution activities remain on track and at present the company says there is no impact to its schedule from the ongoing industry and economic turbulence.
IOG also expects construction activities ramping up to deliver its Southwark and Blythe platforms on schedule within H1 2021, as well as a pipelay campaign that remains on schedule for H2 2020. Read more…
