Kishorn Port hosts floating windfarm stakeholders

Kishorn Port (KPL) held a two-day stakeholder learning day at its facilities, with a focus on the supply chain industries with floating offshore wind interests, it said late May. The event began with guest speakers from each sector of the offshore wind market, followed by a tour of the facilities and discussing the plans for KPL’s development and expansion plans.

Day two concluded with a boat trip around the port (image courtesy KPL) and surrounding areas, taking in a tour of the turbine wet storage and anchorage.

KPL directors Alasdair Ferguson and Colin Ortlepp said in a May 24 statement: “We were delighted with the interest in bringing all the stakeholders together and showcasing the unique facilities available at our Port as well as the development and extension masterplan. A fantastic couple of days was had by all that attended.”
