OEUK strengthens energy expertise with two new board appointments

The leading trade body, Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) has appointed two new industry leaders to its Board, as the sector focuses on powering the UK economy with homegrown energy and talent.

Sandy Hutchison, Managing Director of TAQA UK, brings nearly 25 years of industry knowledge and leadership experience to the Board. Since joining TAQA UK in 2007, he has played a pivotal role in the company’s development and has been instrumental in establishing TAQA’s UK operations and guiding the business through periods of growth and transformation. He now leads the business with a strong focus on safe and efficient late-life operations and one of the largest multi-asset decommissioning programmes in the region.

Stuart Sutherland, Vice President Well Services UK at Odfjell Technology, has built up his career across well services, drilling operations, performance optimisation and large-scale project delivery in the UKCS, Middle East, Caspian and international markets. With over 25 years in the global energy sector, he currently leads strategy, growth and operational delivery of Odfjell Technology’s UK business.
