Global services group Wood has secured two new contracts from Equinor for onshore and offshore facilities in Norway.
The first contract covers delivery of FEED services for brownfield modifications to the Grane offshore facility, including all topsides modifications required on the facility to prepare for the subsea tie-back from the GRAND (Grane Area Northern Development) project.
The second is for the Kollsnes MEG Upgrade (KMU) project, where Equinor is technical service provider on behalf of Gassco. Wood will perform the FEED for modifications to the Kollsnes gas processing plant in Øygarden, west of Bergen, and will be delivered by the company’s local team in Norway, supported by systems engineers in the UK.
